This vehicle has been carefully and lovingly restored over the past few years and is virtually in as new condition. She has a new galvanized chassis, completely rebuilt gearbox and transfer box, and a professionally fitted 200DI (not TDI) Discovery engine, which has drastically improved power, emissions and fuel consumption without putting undo strain on the gearbox and drive shafts. The wiring loom has also been completely replaced with a new one. Ultimately, almost every part of her has either been replaced or reconditioned by a qualified mechanic. The price I am asking for is roughly half of the cost of the restoration, and I have hundreds of receipts to prove it. I am reluctantly selling her because I need a more practical vehicle for long distance journeys. She is taxed commercially, and DOE'd until the 26/04/2012.
