Description

1973 MGB Gt original Chrome bumper.

Dry stored for 17years prior to my ownership, taken out of storage bi-annually any issue discovered resolved and put back in storage.

Once I bought the car I stripped it back to a shell and completed a full rebuild of the car from top to toe.

It has about 50km on it since a full rebuild and restoration which was completed over 12 months and only finished last November. The car was stored inside over the winter and is now ready for summer!!

I have had this car back to a bare shell.
Replaced the majority of the hardware.
Painted in side and out.
New carpets
New/restored interior
Completely new wiring loom supplied by MGB Hive
The engine has been stripped and painted and any necessary bits replaced.
It has all its original panels apart from the rear valance below the bumper.
All the chrome is original.
The only part of the interior that is not original is the carpet and the centre of the seat the cloth part. But all the leather door panels etc is original just refreshed.

There has been about 800 hours put into this build by myself.

The only modern additions was a usb charger disguised as the cigarette lighter and a battery kill switch hidden in the back, aside from that it is as it left the factory.

I haven’t restored it to a concourse condition as the idea was for it to a usable vintage car so it still has some little blemishes here and there but it’s not priced as a Concourse car either.

Everything that went into the car has been restored/refreshed as I built it back up there isn’t an ounce of rust in this car.

If you are interested and have other questions don’t hesitate to get in touch, lack of use really is the reason for selling.

This is a turn key and smile car no work to do just enjoy it 😁😁 with the peace of mind its increasing in value.

Feel free to get in touch with any further questions and I can share plenty of more pictures and videos

Serious offers will be considered.
