The Rover 100 MK4 was produced by the Rover Car Company Ltd in Solihull England between 1960 & 1962. Only 16521 Rover 100 were produced.
This particular vehicle is a fine example of this mid-range executive car of the 1960s.
The bodywork is in a sound condition. The two tone green paintwork has a bright fresh appearance.
The chrome work in in good condition with no sign of general wear or tear.
The engine starts easily & settles to an even tick over. There are no signs of oil, fluid or coolant leaks around the engine or transmission.
On a static test the clutch appears to be in good condition, the over drive four speed gearbox selects gears with ease & appears to be in good condition.
The brakes are fitted with a Girling brake servo as standard. There is good brake pedal pressure with no sign of fade from the brake servo. A visual check of the braking system revealed no leaks or excessive play in any of the linkages.
The steering & suspension are of standard specification & show no signs of excessive wear or play in any of the component parts.
The interior of the vehicle is in very good condition. This model is fitted with a front bench seat.
The wood trimming around the doors & dashboard is in good condition.
A new roof cloth has been fitted at some time.
The green leather seats have a period look & feel to them.
The wheels are in good condition, the tyres are new with no sign of kerbing or side wall damage.
Overall this is Rover 100 is in very good condition & has clearly been well maintained over its life time.
